Cool abstract graphics in few simple steps. I hope this Photoshop tutorial will help somebody.

1. Create a new document (Ctrl+N) with a black background.

 

2. Fill it with red and black Radial Gradient Tool.

 

3. Create a new layer. Fill it with black or white background. Set defoult foreground and background colors . Go to Filter/Render/Difference clouds.

Color dodge makes my layer dissapear. Any suggestions?

It's impossible. U must create 2 different layers - layer with red gradient and layer with clouds.

in step 4 how did you manage

in step 4 how did you manage to get the clouds to look like that because you didnt just repeat the filter several times!

it says 5. Change layer

it says 5. Change layer mode to Color Dodge. but..when i change it nothing happens.. but in the screenshot it change in to red smoke.. how can i do that...

Its in the layer palette next to the opacity.

Ok. Look at the Layers

Ok. Look at the Layers Palette (right bottom corner of photoshop window) - you will see the list of your layers and drop-down menu of layer modes above it (normal as default). Hit it and choose Color Dodge.
